My constantly challenging my skill level with stick tricks and moves on a drum set that had not been done until I said “That would be cool.” This was my motivation. At the time the recordings were just for me to see how I progressed, Many sealed as private videos or recordings for decades.

As Every trick I would use I performed LIVE, often with no PA or Mics/Monitors in intimate settings so that I could meet with you on breaks… And that stick you got for free, If I win, – You Win!

Every time drumming got boring, I would create a new challenge to my skills as it was a past time. including turning my drums left-handed and leaving it, learning to play as a proper Lefty for over 1 Year.
Occasionally I would even get to play with some of my favorite Artist’s.

When My first band Broke Up in 1994 I continued to play in my basement alone learning the majority of my stick tricks. In 2003 Far Too Thirsty was formed. It was a bunch of ex-performers who just wanted to play for fun with friends in a basement and being that I never played shows, and knew so many songs note for note, it was a perfect fit at the time.

So when the first Far Too Thirsty show came, I was already performing at top level.
Just had to break off the stage fright as I wasn’t quite used to being staired at as I performed.
